About Town Hall Education
A Note from Director of Education Joel Roster About the New Session:

Dear Students and Parents--
It is with great pleasure that we present you with our offerings for this Summer of 2012 for Town Hall Education. An unprecedented 21 classes for all ages are on the table, with some additions that we're particularly excited about.
Training classes in Commedia Dell'Arte, Stage Combat, Playwriting and Audition Preparation dot our educational landscape, as well as--due to popular demand--separate improvisation classes for both teens and adults. Our wonderful summer camp programs are back as well; week-long exercises, singing and games to expel all of that fantastic summer energy. But friends, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Glee and Glee, Jr. are back, as well as another long-overdue offering--classes specifically focusing on dance for musical theatre, specially crafted for our elementary, middle and high school students. And there's so much more.
Our teens focus their talents on Neil Simon's Depression-era bittersweet comedy "Brighton Beach Memoirs", while our elementary school students get to discover their own pure imagination as we revisit Willy Wonka KIDS, based off the 1971 movie starring Gene Wilder.
Our Teaching Artist Ensemble is in full force with our core group of celebrated instructors, and we welcome Guest Artists Soren Oliver, Chelsea Zephyr and Elena Wright to our group as we all come together to offer you and your family the finest arts instruction this area has to offer.
We've made some big leaps in the last year, but believe me when I say that we're just getting warmed up.
Hope you can join us for the biggest summer yet at your Town Hall.
