What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?

Its rare to have a Christmas play that is funny, so bringing out the humor while keeping the heart of the show will be our challenge.

How is this production bringing something new to this story?

Its a clever script and I'm hoping that with the ideas that we have we can showcase our amazing cast and all their talents. We've set it in the 80's and we have some fun ideas to enhance the already really funny script! We also have a set of super stars playing our church ladies. In this production these actors will surprise you by standing out with some of their special talents and mega comedy chops! We have enhanced the way they support our story.

What do you do when you’re not doing theatre?

I'm a Mom of two kids and a local realtor. I've been lucky to stay busy as an actor here in our area so between all three things, I feel very satisfied. I love going out with my friends, seeing theatre and being part of our amazing community.

Who do you look up to (as an actor/director/etc.)?

I have had the amazing fortune to work with incredible people, Michael Butler, Timi Near, Robert Barry Fleming, Jenny Perry. I have so many amazing actor friends that it'd be impossible to narrow it down, the Bay Area is teeming with mentors and great talent!

What’s the last thing you do before you step out on stage / the curtain goes up?

I always take a good few minutes to deep breathe, really deep breathe, I check my props, I shake out, take a sip of water...oh and did I mention, I deep breathe?

Kids, kids and more kids! We decided to double cast our show with the kids and I'm so excited about our young actors! I feel like we got really lucky and I can't wait for everyone to see the show. I do think its going to be, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"!!! :)
