An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spellers' mistake. Six spellers enter: one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. Our high school students will be empowered to further improve upon their skills as they think about turning passions into professions.

NEW AT TOWN HALL ... WE ARE PROUD TO OFFER ADULT EDUCATION!
Students will work together to create a live performance of the children’s book Room on the Broom to be performed at elementary schools both locally and in other communities. Through this process, students will also learn basic theatrical skills such as projection, diction, ensemble building and character-based movement. We want adults of all skill and experience levels to feel welcome -- this class will not only benefit you as an artist but as a public speaker and an effective communicator.
We are so excited to expand Town Hall Education to serve the adults (18+) in our community as well as we have been serving our children.
