The Jazz Fly by Matthew Gollub -
Using the fun and engaging music and story from Matthew Gollub’s The Jazz Fly, students will learn intro to theatre skills and very basic music and choreography. This class culminates in an informal performance showing what they have worked on in class.

The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister - Using Marcus Pfister’s beloved story, students will work collaboratively to create an informal performance. Students will continue to learn basic choreography and music as well as vital storytelling skills.

Snow Biz! by John Jacobson and Mac Huff - Just because it doesn’t snow in Lafayette... doesn’t mean we can’t sing about colder winters on stage! Snow Biz! is a fun, ensemble-based show that is age appropriate for our second and third grade students. This class culminates in a formal production.

Press Start! by Denver Casado - Ever wondered what it would be like if our favorite video game characters came alive on stage and started singing? Wonder no more! Getting to Know... Once Upon a Mattress - Our middle schoolers travel back to a fantasy time and take on the classic musical comedy, Once Upon a Mattress. Using this age-appropriate adaptation, students will enhance their vocal, dance and acting abilities. This class culminates in a formal production.

Evil Dead: The Musical (High School Version) - “It’s the Evil Dead!” Our high schoolers will tackle the crazy, campy genre of horror comedy with an age appropriate* version of Evil Dead: The Musical. Demons and dance numbers galore! This class culminates in a full production.

Storytelling and School Tour - Students will work together to create a show to be performed at schools both locally and in other communities. Through this process, students will also learn basic theatrical skills such as projection, diction, ensemble building and character-based movement. We want adults of all skill and experience levels to feel welcome as this class will not only benefit you as an artist but also as a public speaker and an effective communicator.
