Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead highlights the absurdity in living in a world governed by fate in this comedic spinoff of Shakespeare's Hamlet. The lives of two of Hamlet's minor characters, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, are magnified in this raucous interpretation as they attempt to overcome the forces which are sending them hurtling towards their scripted demise, finding themselves commanded to take part in the drama of the minor characters Hamlet, Ophelia, Claudius, Gertrude and the rest of the royal gang. A production by fledgling theatre company, the Ouroborus Players, this play is sure to entertain.
