Town Hall Education is proud to partner with schools and community groups in the Lamorinda and Contra Costa areas to bring theatre education to even more places.
Like our onsite classes, Town Hall Education’s Residencies provide a process-based and engaging theatrical experience to students of all ages. Our core values are empowerment, connection and empathy, trust, collaboration, creativity, and commitment. Programs vary based on the needs of the partnering organizations and range from introductions to theatre to full-length productions. We strive to build community and creativity with students everywhere we go.Why Town Hall Theater? A staple of the East Bay for the past 34 years, we serve the people of Lamorinda through storytelling and community for all ages. Town Hall prides itself on connections and experiences through its patrons and students. Town Hall’s Educational theater does the one thing we set out to do: teach and encourage confidence, kindness, and creativity to tiny humans.“My experience with Town Hall was awesome and I’m now interested in being an actor someday when I grow up!”

“Town Hall Education has been incredible to work with these past several years. The teaching staff works so well with the kids and their wide range of abilities and personalities, creating confidence that permeates other aspects of their lives (from experience as a producer and as a parent of a performer). They have made the parent producer role one I look forward to year after year.”

“From the first class to the final curtain, we had a wonderful experience with Town Hall at Sleepy Hollow! Our students were thoroughly engaged in both the performance and tech classes, taking pride in their work and producing a wonderful show for our school community. Students came away with confidence and increased public speaking skills, and many reported a newfound love for the performing arts! ”
