Dare to be Bold

This Spring, join us as students meet characters that push boundaries and dare to be bold in a world where they have been told they can’t. These production classes will expand student skills as they bring stories to life on stage.

Spring Classes

Pre-K Through First Grade

  • Join us for an introductory class to performance and creative storytelling featuring number one New York Times Bestseller, The Day the Crayons Quit. In this class, students will learn age appropriate performance skills and bring the many colored crayons to life on the stage. No previous theatre experience required!

    First graders may take this class or the 1st-3rd grade class depending on their skills and developmental age.

    Performance: March 15th 5:30pm

First Through Third Grade

  • 1st-3rd grade students in this class will learn theatre and performance basics and use their skills to put on a show.

    Journey of the Noble Gnarble is a story of a little gnarble with a big dream, who tries to make it past doubting blyfish, sneaky subbalubbles, and hungry plinks on his way to the surface of the sea. Along the way he befriends the glinny glims who teach him the importance of positivity and determination!

    First graders may take this class or the PreK-1st grade class depending on their skills and developmental age.

    Tech Rehearsals: April 13th from 12-3pm AND April 14th from 12-3pm

    Performances: April 16th at 5pm AND 7pm

  • 4-6pm

    January 24th-April 10th
    No Class: April 3rd

    Tech Rehearsals: April 13th 3:30-6:30pm AND April 14th 3:30-6:30pm

    Performances: April 17th at 5pm AND 7pm

Fourth and Fifth Grade

  • 4th and 5th grade students in this class will build on theatre and performance basics and use their skills to put on a show.

    All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will give your actors a great opportunity and your audience an evening of enchantment.

Sixth Through 12th Grade

  • Two households, both alike in dignity.

    6th-12th grade students in this class will build on theatre and performance intermediate skills and use their growing skillset to conquer shakespearean language and put on a show.

    Join us for a new take on an age-old tale as young romance blossoms in the face of feuding families.

  • Sundays 10:30am - 1pm, February 4th-April 21st
    AND Mondays 4-6:30pm, February 5th-April 22nd

    No Class: February 18/19th, March 31st, and April 1st

    Tech Rehearsals: April 28th, 29th AND 30th 4-7pm

    Performances: May 3rd at 7pm AND May 4th at 7pm
