From the wickedly funny mind of Karen Zacarías comes a smart, fast-moving comedy about good fences, bad neighbors, and the chaos that erupts when politeness wears thin. When Tania, a very pregnant Ph.D. candidate, and her high-powered lawyer husband Pablo move in next door, longtime homeowners Virginia and Frank are determined to welcome them. The new neighbors hit it off until a mysteriously misplaced fence line threatens Frank’s prize-winning garden. As the stakes grow absurdly high, everyone is forced to confront uncomfortable truths about class, culture, race, and just how ridiculous we can all become when defending our own little patch of earth.
