Snow White Lite
Students in this program will build introductory ensemble and acting skills as they put on a production of the play Snow White Lite! Class rehearsals are built to grow student skills and rehearse performance skills like speaking with confidence, embodying character and emotions, and creative thinking. This program culminates in technical rehearsals (required student attendance) and performances.
About the show
Laughter and jokes abound in this adaptation of the classic tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. We follow a grumpy Queen who desires to be the fairest in the land, and when her mirror tells the tale of another fair maiden, the Queen takes matters into her own hands. Snow White meets a group of dwarves in the woods, but since the dwarves don't need help with cooking and cleaning, they hand Snow White a plunger and put her to work! When the Queen, cleverly disguised in Groucho glasses, tries to finish Snow White off with a poisoned apple, the girl is saved by the quick response from Prince Heimlich. A silly and fast-paced romp through a classic fairy tale!

Enroll in Snow White LiteThe Day Aliens Attacked Fairfield
Students in this program will build beginner to intermediate acting skills and use their growing skills to put on a production of the play The Day Aliens Attacked Fairfield. Class rehearsals are built to grow student skills and rehearse performance skills in projection, embodying character, and confidence on stage. This program culminates in technical rehearsals (required student attendance) and performances.
About the show
Fairfield's a place where nothing ever happens, at least not since Billy Myers got that nasty papercut a decade ago. And with the exception of a pair of vain newscasters, a few fringe skywatchers, and a kooky grandfather living in a galactically fantastic past, most townsfolk are okay with their humdrum ways. Like it or not, though, the winds of change are about to descend on Fairfield faster than a delivery from the town's famous Flying Saucer Pizza. A couple of teens report an alien sighting, and Fairfield finds itself in a frenzy. Luckily, the members of SAWPE (that's the Society of Alien Watchers to Protect Earth) are selling tinfoil hats to help protect everyone. Even the president comes to this sleepy burg, but not everyone in town agrees with his plan to attack the space-traveling Zordonians. It'll be up to a brave little girl and her unwavering grandpa to stop a war of the worlds in this ridiculously silly one-act comedy that's out of this world!
What's unique about this program?

About the show
On a sunny day in the town of Bloomington, a devastating occurrence happens. No, it's not famine, or floods, or loss of your basic rights. The internet has gone down! And it will continue to be down! For a week! A whole week! Pandemonium! In a world that is so dependent on the internet for shopping, mailing, and posting pictures of cute babies, how will society function? Not well, as it turns out. The Day the Internet Died hilariously explores how inept we are at socializing, research, and basic human interactions when we don't have a screen to look at.
